Lagunas de Matapalo is a large, planned community covering 250 acres, unique to the Matapalo area. It extends from the inter-coastal highway, which gives visibility to the project, to the ocean, and is bordered on the periphery by large trees, insuring privacy. A gated community will protect the owners, giving a sense of security. A large portion of the project is rain forest, with many birds and animals on the property. There are three lagoons, the largest of which is 750 meters long and up to 100 meters wide. All villas and lots will have water views. It is the only development of its kind with houses on the water with direct access to the ocean.
Costa Rica, especially the rain forest area on the south-central pacific coast, is a tremendous growth market, especially with the world’s focus on the environment. The shrinking market of ocean properties available, especially with clean, beautiful beaches, makes Lagunas de Matapalo a great investment for the future.
