Activities
The project is unique in that it is completely isolated after entering the gates by mountains of trees on the sides, and bordered by the highway on one side and the ocean on the other, giving one a feeling of “Shangri-La” upon entering the property, with only mountains, trees, birds, and animal life visible. Common areas for walking and hiking will be available. A club house with swimming pool, spa facilities, tennis court, volley ball, and other sports will be included. Horseback riding, both on the property and the beach are also available.
Ecotourism is currently the fastest growing sector of the world's largest service industry, tourism. While environmentalists are weighing the pros and cons of ecotourism, many developing nations are looking to cash in on the growing demand for this new trend in travel. The poor nations of Central America, with its cloud forests, active volcanoes, and wide variety of flora and fauna, appear ideally situated to take advantage of the growing demand for ecotourism with Costa Rica leading the pack.
